ZPKF is part of this pioneering generation fully hited by the advent of techno in France. Radical raver at first, going up and down in burgeoning shindigs, apprentice producer then animator sharing his passion on a local radio, ZPKF widens gradually his musical spectrum moving from a hardcore/acid base to a more techno style.

He worked in the mythical Motorbass studios, where he met Julien Naudin with whom he co-founded the duo Torb. Their hypnotic performances with hand-made modulars are hailed by critics and public.

Live modular artist, obsessive technician who hacks his machines to invent a unique sound, ZPKF now continues his solo career, digging the groove of a deep, essential, unpredictable, unadorned techno. He is looking for an original form of trance passing through the cold heart of machines, and in these troubled times when everyone is in search of a truth beyond pretense, ZPKF is definitely going in the right direction.

Follow him with this new EP on Volphonie, composed of three tracks particularly revealing of his approach, followed by two remixes: one produced by Yann Lean, musician with rare talent and half of Trunkline, who delivers here a very moving reinterpretation of the eponymous track of this EP, deep and loaded with memory; the second is the work of Darzack, an essential artist of the new French scene, who offers a remix full of crazy energy and decidedly more festive.

Volphonie therefore continues its momentum by offering an 8th EP that will delight both the most frenzied dancer and the most seasoned listener!
